Operation “Farm Hands”

supporting the current and future agriculturists of our community

Farmers on Delmarva sow the very fabric of our local economy in a big way. Around $3B in market value of products are sold from the Eastern Shore each year and that number is growing. Thousands of students attend technical/trade schools for agriculture to fill the shoes of those currently providing. As crucial as it is to keep those programs going, and their equipment up to date and serviceable, we are committed to doing our part to help.

What are we doing?

For the entire month of September:

  • 20% of profits from ALL orders will be donated to Future Farmers of America (FFA) student and alumni chapters throughout the Eastern Shore.
  • Operation Farm Hands shirts will be made available during this time. 100% of profit from purchases of Operation Farm Hands shirts will be donated.

Operation "Teacher Supply"

resupplying our teachers and classrooms

Teachers are one of the most important jobs in the country and the pay is below the national individual income average. It is also one of the most stressful. Not only are teachers “on” all day, but they often work extra hours outside of contract work and act as mentors, caregivers, peacemakers, social workers, and more to a variety of students with a multitude of needs. The average salary of a teacher on the Eastern Shore is just $40,173. That is just $10,000 above the national poverty threshold. And yet, according to a report by the Federal Department of Education, no fewer than 94% of teachers spend their own money on classroom needs. No wonder 55% of teachers reported in 2022 that they plan to leave the education field sooner than planned.  Classrooms often run short on supplies shortly after Christmas break. Let's help lower that stress and burden by providing supplies when they're needed the most.

What are we doing?

For the entire month of January:

  • 20% of profits from ALL orders will be used to purchase school supplies for classrooms in need right here on the Eastern Shore.
  • Operation Teacher Supply shirts will be made available during this time. 100% of profit from purchases of Operation Teacher Supply shirts will be donated to the cause.

Operation "Good Natured"

Cleaning up our waters and lands

The Eastern Shore is home to a vast array of diverse habitats and environments. From the bay and marshlands, to the forests and swamps, nature is threatened by pollution and habitat destruction. Since our communities are so dependent on natural resources (seafood, soil, lumber etc.), it is vital that we sustain our environment. What would the Shore be without crabs and oysters? What would it be without farmable land? Or the vast forests and the animals that inhabit them? Help us clean up. Or at least keep your filth to yourself.

What are we doing?

For the entire month of April:

  • 20% of profits from ALL orders will be donated to organizations that actually help to clean up litter from our waters and lands.
  • Operation Good Natured shirts will be made available during this time. 100% of profit from purchases of Operation Good Natured shirts will be donated to the cause.
